On thursday evening, my sister and I ventured down to Brick Lane to have a peruse of the new State of Craft book... (from the team that created Making Stuff) A fantastic collection of interesting projects and insightful interviews with craft scene heavy-weights Tatty Devine and the brilliant Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich. The book includes step-by-step guides on how to create beautiful things, ranging from pingpong hair bobbles to paintbrush scarves.
After par-taking in the crafty felt moustache and tote making workshops, we decided that some salt beef bagels were in order...
My sister, a visiting Glasgow resident, had never experienced a trip to a 24-hour bagel bakery... Well, she was in for a treat. The visit was a resounding success...
