Cara's cute cottage...

Oh my goodness! I can't believe that I haven't posted on here for nearly THREE weeks... Very bad indeed. I guess I've been fairly busy, with one thing or another...

One thing that I was up to was visiting my lovely friend Cara, in her cosy cottage in Dorset. She is a fantastic corset maker and costumier, making stunning pieces for stage and screen, including the beautiful dresses worn by Jessica Biel in Easy Virtue. Cara has decorated her cottage with vintage finds from local fetes and amazing furniture found on the streets of Hackney. If there was any chance that I could shack up with this wonderful gal and her cute cat Mimi, I'd be there in a second!

Landmark Trust...

I stumbled across this amazing building preservation charity the other day...

'Founded in 1965 by the late Sir John Smith and Lady Smith. It was established to rescue historic and architecturally interesting buildings and their surroundings from neglect and, when restored, to give them new life by letting them as places to experience for holidays'.

How cool to stay in one of these buildings! It would be so great to get a group of friends together and go on an adventure. I love pretending that Liberty is actually my house, but with these beauties you are actually allowed to live in them for a short time... I can't decide which one though.

My My Favourite Favourite New New Song Song...

I have stated before that I am a rather late person, always having to hurry and frantically dash around, as I have an unbelievable knack of leaving everything right to the last minute. I know this... One thing that I do pride myself on however, is the fact that I'm pretty good at taking care of my stuff. I rarely lose my things... keys, bank cards, etc. So, when I happened to misplace my iPod, I knew that it couldn't be too far away, and even though I searched high and low for it, I knew that I would find it one day... Well, that day came last week (after nearly six months of separation). Hooray! I couldn't be happier, all those long tuneless train journeys and tiresome walks home, when all I wanted to do was crank up the volume and immerse myself in a nice bit of moosic... I shan't have to suffer any longer!

My favourite new song to jump around to at the moment is Default by Django Django. I cannot get enough of it, I've had it on repeat pretty much all day. The video is ace too...

It's also the iTunes single of the week at the moment...
